WOLVERHAMPTON RACECOURSE GETS SET FOR EASTER FAMILY FUNDAY TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE WITH CANCER
Wolverhampton Racecourse is joining forces with Teenage Cancer Trust for a day of fun for all the family on Easter Bank Holiday Monday 22nd April. The family themed race day, which is FREE for children, is back by popular demand for 2019 and will focus its efforts on raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that works to ensure no young person diagnosed with cancer faces it alone.
Families can enjoy a jam-packed afternoon filled with activities including bouncy castles, inflatables, face painting, Easter Eggs and try their luck on the Chocolate Tombola hosted by Teenage Cancer Trust! Not only will there be plenty to do around the racecourse to keep the kids entertained, but families can enjoy live-action horse racing right from the trackside.
The Easter Family Funday takes place at Wolverhampton Racecourse, Dunstall Park on Monday 22nd April. Gates open at 12.10pm with the final race at 5.35pm (subject the change). Adult tickets cost £9 in advance via www.wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk with under 18’s free of charge. Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the gate for £14.

Every year approximately 220 young people are diagnosed with cancer in the West Midlands region. Teenage Cancer Trust makes sure that no young person faces cancer alone. Teenage Cancer Trust funds 3 specialist units in the West Midlands, at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. The units offer local young cancer patients access to the best possible care, support and access to treatments. They help young people and their families deal with the many ways cancer affects your body, mind and life.
