Pop megastar and style icon - LIAM PAYNE - is on track for a huge show in the West Midlands in 2020.

On Saturday 22nd August this year, the Wolverhampton-born talent will play to a huge hometown crowd in what will be a very special performance at the city’s Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Proving that you don’t have to be a Queen fan to enjoy “a day at the races” and great music simultaneously, this unmissable show will invite audiences to enjoy an entire day of racing at one of the UK’s most prestigious arenas, before a full and exclusive live set by Liam Payne late into the evening.

As both a tenacious solo artist and one of the founding members of One Direction, Liam Payne is one of the best selling and globally-recognised artists to emerge in the last decade.

Upon signing to Capitol Records UK in 2016, Liam released his debut single ‘Strip That Down’ featuring Quavo, which became an instant worldwide hit and more than hinted at a promising solo career ahead. Topping the US charts, the track has since sold a huge 11.5 million copies worldwide and has been streamed over 1.8 billion times.

He has since collaborated with some of the hottest acts of the pop music world today, including superstar DJ/producer Zedd on ‘Get Low’ and J Balvin, the Latin American megastar who joined Liam for the hit single ‘Familiar’. The track spent 16 weeks on the UK singles charts and has been streamed over 190 million times on Spotify alone.

In 2018, Liam released his duet with Rita Ora, ‘For You’ - UK top ten hit which spent 17 weeks on the UK singles chart and featured on the Fifty Shades Freed official soundtrack.

After a busy 2019, which not-only saw him team up with US rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on club smash ‘Stack It Up’, Liam also became a global ambassador for Hugo Boss, plus released his long-awaited debut solo album ‘LP1’. As 2020 and all its new opportunities dawn, Liam now looks forward to bringing his boundary-pushing pop back home for a huge headline show at the Wolverhampton Racecourse this Summer.

Having stacked-up over three and a half billion times to date and with an arsenal of worldwide chart conquering tracks at his fingertips, Liam Payne’s ‘Live After Racing’ appearance will be an unmissable opportunity to see a modern-day icon of style and sound playing to an adoring hometown crowd; a ticket guaranteed to be the hottest in town next summer.
